Join us for The Dance Screen 2025!After launching The Dance Screen in 2017 in the intimacy of our home theatre, Belle Spirale is thrilled to bring this beloved cinematic experience to the big screen. Join us for an unforgettable evening at the beautiful cinema of Alliance Française Vancouver - an elegant pre-holiday celebration of dance, film, and artistry. What to expect:A curated collection of short dance films from local and international artists, all connected to Belle Spirale's artistic community. From experimental movement studies to narrative-driven pieces, these films take dance as their point of departure and transform it into cinematic art. 6:45pm - Doors &amp; Reception Arrive early to mingle with Artistic Directors Alexis Fletcher and Sylvain Senez, meet the filmmakers, and enjoy BC wines at our cash bar (all proceeds support Belle Spirale). 7:30pm - Screening Settle into the intimate 165-seat cinema for an evening of stunning visuals and movement. Featuring a world premiere and several films making their big-screen debut, this is a rare opportunity to see dance on film the way it was meant to be experienced - large, luminous, and alongside fellow art lovers.
