Come out for the launch of a week-long art gallery and auction highlighting Palestinian solidarity, York&rsquo;s institutional contradictions, and the role of art and collective action in building a different future. BACKGROUND:&nbsp;The People&rsquo;s Gallery project was started by PSC in response to the firing of a curator at an art gallery at York. Allegedly she was fired for refusing to unjustly alter a pro-Palestinian art piece at the behest of Zionist higher ups. The purpose of The People&rsquo;s Gallery is to take up space and remind people that decolonialism is our future, discuss York&rsquo;s complicities and hypocrisies, as well as to fundraise and support our community here and abroad.
