Tournament With a Purpose: Housing, Healing &amp; Hope is more than a fundraising event. &nbsp; &nbsp;It is a commitment to helping Indigenous families, children, youth, and Elders access safe housing, cultural connection, recreation, healing, and community support in Edmonton, Alberta. &nbsp; &nbsp;For many Indigenous families living in urban centres, the challenges are complex and deeply interconnected. Many families leave their Nations due to limited housing availability, overcrowding, lack of economic opportunity, family violence, food insecurity, addictions, intergenerational trauma, or the need to access healthcare, education, and employment opportunities. &nbsp; &nbsp;Once families relocate to urban centres, many experience isolation, cultural disconnection, financial hardship, unstable housing, houselessness, and limited support systems. Some families struggle to know where to begin rebuilding stability for themselves and their children. &nbsp; &nbsp;The Belvedere housing initiative was created to help change that reality. &nbsp; &nbsp;This Indigenous-led development is designed to provide not only affordable and market housing, but also wrap-around support, cultural spaces, family recreation, community wellness, and opportunities for healing and long-term success. &nbsp; &nbsp;Every sponsorship contribution helps create spaces where Indigenous families can build stronger futures, reconnect with culture and community, and create lasting foundations for generations to come. &nbsp;
