Tưởng Nhớ Th&aacute;ng Tư: Warring Memories of Vietnam is a series of film screenings we will be hosting throughout the month of April to honour the history, legacy, and afterlife of April 30th, 1975. After decades of consecutive war, invasion and occupation from French, Japanese and U.S. forces, the Vietnamese people were victorious in reclaiming independence on one front, but were then met with an incredibly daunting struggle of rebuilding from the rubble, and in the face of new forms of violences. We curated this program to feature unique lenses of remembering our people&rsquo;s histories. Films range from archival pieces, to recent productions; works from Vietnamese directors and Cuban directors...and more! **NOTE** Not all screenings have the same time or location, please read through the options and confirmation email accordingly!_________ Security: Data and EmailsZeffy has it mandatory that we ask for your First and Last name, but you can put whatever you want.
