LXCL:Turns and breakouts clinic with Amber Hutchinson

Sharpen your turns and breakouts with Swimming Biomechanist Amber Hutchinson&nbsp;in this focused clinic.&nbsp; SENIOR PERFORMANCE swimmers will attend at 7:00 AM,&nbsp;YOUTH PERFORMANCE swimmers will attend at 8:30 AM.&nbsp; In our video analysis session on Saturday April 25th, we will work in small groups. Swimmers will execute a turn and breakout of their best stroke - or the stroke recommended by the coach. The swimmers will be filmed, and we will review the videos as a group. Expect to learn about the ideal technique and improve your understanding of effective swimming skills. The first step is gaining awareness of the errors that each swimmer is making and identifying areas for improvement. Swimmers will also learn from listening and observing videos and feedback of their teammates which will broaden their understanding further. We will discuss areas that can improve short term and other details may be discussed as areas for gradual improvement. We will aim to provide enough time for full video review, including example videos, time for practice and drills, and a final round of video to see if swimmers were able to make any progress short term within the session.&nbsp; Coaches and parents are welcome on deck to hear the feedback and learn also. This clinic supports the Burlington Devilrays mission to provide a supportive, challenging environment for growth in competitive swimming.
