This three-part beginner-friendly intensive invites curious movers to explore a dynamic blend of dance, climbing, and site-responsive choreography. Ideal for those new to vertical dance or returning after an introductory workshop. The series begins on Sunday, July 26 at 5:30 PM with a two-hour orientation to vertical wall dancing at Cirque&rsquo;letics&rsquo; facility&mdash;laying the technical foundation for safe and expressive vertical movement. The cohort then ventures outdoors for evening workshops on Tuesday, July 28 and Thursday, July 30 &nbsp;(5:30&ndash;7:30 PM) at two spectacular oceanside cliffs, where we&rsquo;ll deepen our skills in jump technique and dance rappel in stunning natural settings. Participants are also warmly invited to join in casual group sociables on Monday and the last Sunday (venues TBD). To witness the local community showcase inside The Rooms, Wednesday July 29 at 7pm. And cheer on the advanced cohort during a public performance from the 10-storey Atlantic Place Building the afternoon of Sunday, August 2. All necessary vertical dance equipment, including harnesses and safety gear, will be provided. Participants should be prepared for moderate physical activity, including working in suspension and moving in a harness. Progression into more advanced exercises may be limited if facilitators determine additional preparation is needed to ensure participant safety. Outdoor locations are subject to change depending on weather and other factors. Transportation to and from all workshop locations is the responsibility of each participant. While we may be able to help coordinate carpooling, this cannot be guaranteed. Participants are responsible for bringing whatever they&rsquo;ll need to stay fuelled and hydrated during workshops. At our social events, we hope to provide a modest selection of snacks at select venues (pending sponsorship support), but for now, participants will be responsible for purchasing their own food and drinks. Please note that we do not offer refunds unless in cases of exceptional circumstances.
