About the CampHi! Thanks for your interest in the 2025 VEXcode Virtual Skills Summer Camp to prepare for Online Challenge competition. This camp is designed to get students ready for Virtual Skills Online Challenge Nov 2025-Feb 2026 Push Back, for middle school and high school teams. No prior experience is required, and experienced students are also welcome. It is open to students entering Grades 5–12 as of Fall 2025. Campers will learn and practice in small groups in teams of 2-3. Students will learn Computer Science and Python programming, game strategy, engineering process, technical writing and  try a mock competition at the end. By the time students finish this summer camp, they will be ready to be part of 2055 Virtual Skills Online Challenge Competition team. With small group sizes and hands-on learning, the camp will be both fun and educational! Who are We?My Life Long Learning (Mi3L) School is a Not-for-profit Corporate founded in July 2017 under Innovate, Science and Economic Development Canada. We are passionate for empowering youth in the community with STEM education, and become well rounded leaders. We have V5RC Robotics and Aerial Drone HS/MS competition teams for STEM education, recreational sport programs and general interest education programs and seminars. The camp will be taught by alumni and friend of VEX Robotics Team 2055A Capybaras and now studying Computer Science in university 2nd year.  VEX Robotics Team 2055A Capybaras is a high school robotics team along with sister middle school team 2055X Red Pandas founded by Connor Zhou under Mi3L School not-for-profit organization since 2022. Over the past three years, 2055A qualified for the VEX World Championship twice and earned numerous awards, including the Excellence Award, Tournament Champion, Design Award, Think Award, and Create Award. In 2024, we were named the VEX AI World Skills Champions and Innovate Award, in 2025, 2055A won Inspire Award at VEX AI World Champions.  In addition to competing, we’ve spent years mentoring younger teams and have hosted 3 times since 2023 five STEM workshops and robotics camps for elementary and middle school students as community outreach. Our middle school Vex Robotics  We’re excited to give back by helping the next generation of young engineers build, code, and explore their passion for robotics! Summer Camp Instructor: Jason YangHi everyone! My name is Jason Yang, and I am entering my 2nd year in Computer Science at McMaster University. My hobbies include programming and video editing, which I've been exploring for several years. I was a programmer on our robotics team, 2055A, where I gained a lot of hands-on experience in software development and won many awards with the team, including Worlds Skills Champion in the AI competition! I've also edited videos both for personal projects and for non-profit organizations. In my free time, I enjoy jogging, playing badminton, and rock climbing.
