In this two-hour workshop, Sadie Gilker will introduce you to embroidery techniques and motifs inspired by Victorian publications of the period. Sadie has especially put together this Victorian themed embroidery class just us at Roedde House! Half an hour will be dedicated to intro and wrap up at the beginning and end of the night.&nbsp; You&rsquo;ll learn:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">A little history of Victorian-era embroidery</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Traditional stitches commonly used during the period</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Motifs and patterns sourced from historical publications</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">How to create your own embroidered piece</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Choose to finish your work as an embroidered handkerchief or keep it as a decorative piece.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">All materials are provided.</li></ul>This workshop is for Roedde House volunteers and friends only.
