Our networks of mutual care and legal support must grow in tandem, with the understanding that we keep us safe. Join us for a Toronto Community Justice Fund (TCJF) fundraiser and panel on mutual care and solidarity after an arrest. We will hear from panelists Nanky Rai, Arash Ghiassi, and Sharmeen Khan. MORE ABOUT THE TORONTO COMMUNITY JUSTICE FUND (TCJF) Over the last few years, many Torontonians have pooled funds in the TCJF to support community members facing legal and other financial repercussions due to their organizing and action in solidarity with Palestinian liberation. The TCJF has worked tirelessly to distribute these funds. Many community members are still in need of support, especially as police violence and criminalization continues. Operating from a place of love, care, mutual assistance and resource sharing, the TCJF aims to mitigate the impacts of state repression and provide community support to our people.
