Open to Participants: -Individuals with lived cancer experiences -Caregivers to individuals with lived cancer experiences Location:Wellness Kitchen at the Chalmers Foundation Cancer Support Community Centre located at 25 Alison Blvd, Suite 2 (entrance is at the back of the building). What to Bring: A pen & notebook/paper for taking notes. About this Program:Cancer Related Fatigue is one of the most common and debilitating symptoms of cancer and its treatments.  Cancer-related fatigue is a sense of physical, emotional and cognitive (thinking) tiredness which does not go away after rest. It can have a negative impact on work, relationships, mood, daily activities, and your overall quality of life. This program is helpful to individuals who are: -Feeling tired all the time -Feeling that the tiredness is impacting their ability to enjoy life -Considering returning to work and wondering about their stamina -Wanting to connect with other members who have cancer related fatigue The Cancer Related Fatigue program will provide you with strategies to mitigate its impact. “The Cancer Related Fatigue program got me walking every day, no matter how sick I felt. It made a big difference in reducing fatigue and establishing daily exercise as a key component of sustained self-care" - Laurie Bodley What to Expect:This four-week program, with weekly 90-minute session, will help you acknowledge the impact that fatigue is having on your life and provide strategies to mitigate its impact.
