Help raise money to support the &lsquo;Na̱mg̱is legal challenge to save wild salmon from salmon farms CALLING FOR DONATIONS of art/goods/services to the Silent Auction portion of the fundraiser dance &ldquo;Wild Salmon Jamboree&rdquo; from all who support the end of the open net fish farming and the return of the wild salmon!&nbsp;&nbsp;Even with the successful ejection of the infectious open net fish farms from a large portion of&nbsp;Kwakwa̱ka̱&#39;wakw marine waters, wild salmon protected in this territory still face infection from exposure to other fish farms as they migrate to sea; there is still more to done to be finally rid of this scourge. To this end, the fund-raiser dance, &ldquo;Wild Salmon Jamboree&rdquo; will be held on unceded Qualicum First Nation territory on Saturday, March 15th at the Lighthouse Community Center in Qualicum Bay.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Silent Auction portion of the dance will feature stellar works of art by famous Kwakwa̱ka̱&#39;wakw artists who follow in the footsteps of our ancestors by being in good relationship with our relatives the wild salmon. Further, we also seek donations by local businesses who operate on traditional Kwakwa̱ka̱&#39;wakw territory and who are friends of the wild salmon.&nbsp;&nbsp;The proceeds of the dance and the Silent Auction will go directly to a&nbsp;&#39;Na̱mg̱is First Nation account exclusively for their battle to save wild salmon.&nbsp;&nbsp;
