This event celebrates women who have made outstanding contributions to their fields and communities. First launched in 2007, it honours leadership, resilience, and excellence across sectors. This year&#39;s theme: Shaping What&#39;s Next: Muslim Women Leading Canada Forward.This year&#39;s honourees are advocates, mentors, trailblazers, and community builders whose work is actively shaping Canada&#39;s future. Their impact reaches far beyond their immediate circles, leaving a lasting mark on Canadian society. Supporting Education Through CCMW&#39;s ScholarshipsThis is an annual fundraiser to raise money for <a fr-original-style="" href="https://www.ccmw.com/scholarships/" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">CCMW&#39;s Scholarships</a>, which help reduce financial barriers for Muslim women pursuing post-secondary education in Canada. CCMW currently offers three scholarships:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Lila Fahlman Scholarship &mdash; established in memory of Dr. Lila Fahlman, a distinguished educator and founder of CCMW, supporting Canadian Muslim women pursuing higher education.</li><li fr-original-style="" id="isPasted" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Black Muslimah Shining Scholarship &mdash; part of CCMW&#39;s Black Muslimahs Shining campaign, supporting the education and empowerment of Black Muslimah students in Canada.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Alia Hogben Scholarship &mdash; established in memory of Alia Hogben, a trained social worker, Order of Canada recipient, and longtime CCMW Executive Director, supporting Muslim women pursuing social work studies.</li></ul>By attending, you&#39;re not just celebrating this year&#39;s honourees - you&#39;re directly helping fund scholarships that open doors for the next generation of Canadian Muslim women.
