CLASS DESCRIPTION:With a focus on solving floorwork puzzles, being upside down, and dancing big, this class invites an exploration of movement pathways that challenge coordination, strength, and spatial awareness. Come ready to sweat, take risks, and dive into moving with power and curiosity.&nbsp; BIO:Brianne Chan 陳羨宜 is a movement artist based on the unceded Coast Salish territories of the Squamish, Musqueam, and Tsleil-Waututh nations (Vancouver). After graduating from Modus Operandi, she furthered her dance training with scholarships at TSV and at EDAM, and began her aerial/acro training with Corporeal Imago. Brianne has been freelancing as a performer, choreographer, educator, and collaborator. Most recently, she has had the pleasure of touring nationally with Calder White, Corporeal Imago, and Anya Saugstad. With influence from Animal Flow, acrobatics, and floorwork techniques, she explores movement pathways through repetition, coordination, and building strength. She is inspired by the many nuances of our body&#39;s natural intuition and expression, creating worlds of shared experiences and collective understanding. Brianne has taught dancers of all ages from preschool to professional sharing her love of dance.
