This is not a full production, but rather a work-in-progress and a chance to get a glimpse into the playwrighting process. The event invites feedback and insight from the community, and will feature a Q&amp;A session after the reading.&nbsp;&nbsp; This event is FREE to attend; please RSVP!&nbsp;You will not be allowed entry without proof of registering.&nbsp; Ticket-holders who are not at the venue 7 minutes prior to start time will be forfeiting their spots. 📍Centaur Theatre (453 R. Saint-Fran&ccedil;ois-Xavier, Montr&eacute;al, QC H2Y 2T1) &nbsp;ABOUT THE PLAY:&nbsp;A Nice Ordinary Wedding revolves around Zo and Afolabi, an unabashedly queer couple, deciding to formalize their long-term relationship by getting married. The announcement of this milestone to their families is not met with celebration and joy, but question upon question, criticism upon criticism, and, at its worst, phobia upon phobia. A full interrogation of their identities and values takes place as family members and friends from different cultures, religions and ages discuss their wedding plans. A Nice Ordinary Wedding follows the treacherous minefield of a path the couple walks on their way to the altar. In this contemporary exploration of queer identity, Ekwuyasi reveals the balancing act between chosen family and blood family on the couple&rsquo;s quest for acceptance. &nbsp;
