Open to professional and emerging professional dancers (18+). Instructor BiographyBill Coleman is a choreographer, dancer, and teacher. His events unfold in remote rural landscapes, urban environments, theatrical contexts and commissioned works. These projects bring together world-class artists, local residents, schools, and community groups. &nbsp;Coleman&rsquo;s collaborators include media artists <a fr-original-style="" id="isPasted" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Edwin van der Heide</a> and <a fr-original-style="" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Gordon Monahan</a>; the <a fr-original-style="" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Sun Ra Arkestra</a>; St&oacute;꞉lō author and activist <a fr-original-style="" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Lee Maracle</a>; and Anishinaabe director&nbsp;<a fr-original-style="" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Patti Shaughnessy</a>. He is the recipient of the Walter Carsen Prize for Excellence in the Performing Arts and the Canada Council&rsquo;s Jacqueline Lemieux Prize. His work has been presented in Mongolia, Greenland, China, Europe, and across North America.
