Acorns Pre-School, a vital local community service and registered charity, must relocate its current premises by August 2028. We are launching a project to fund and secure a new home, to enable us to continue supporting local children and families for years to come. Funds raised will also help&nbsp;us to meet increased rent demands in the short term.&nbsp; Securing a new, long-term home will protect and strengthen an essential early years service at the heart of Masham. It will ensure continued access to high‑quality childcare for local families, supporting parents to work and children to thrive.&nbsp; Acorns has supported generations of children for 23 years and is the only provision of its kind locally. With new housing increasing demand, this project will help meet growing childcare needs in the area and could enable future expansion, including care for under‑twos where local provision is very limited.&nbsp; Beyond childcare, Acorns builds confidence, friendships and community connections. Securing new premises safeguards this essential support, helping families, employment and community life in Masham to flourish for years to come.
