Belvoir Dance Academy is running two shows this year and our chosen charity for both shows is our home, the Stathern War Memorial Institute Village Hall (charity number 519063). Major renovations of this historical and significant building are planned, and we are keen to help support the efforts to improve where we dance. In particular, we will be raising funds for a new dance floor! We are hoping to raise enough money to install a Harlequin Flexity dance floor, which is a sprung floor system with shock dampening elastomer pads, with a Fiesta vinyl peformanc floor. It will be under-floor-heated and safe for all forms of dance incuding tap! In addition we will have a new lobby with glass windows for viewing, ballet barres and mirrors 🙌 The quote for the floor alone is &pound;24,037 😱.
