For 50 years, the London Youth Games has given young Londoners inclusive, empowering and unforgettable experiences through sport. For many, it&rsquo;s their first chance to represent, to feel pride, to experience the joy of competing. More than 2,000,000 young people aged 7&ndash;17 have taken part, including young disabled Londoners, gaining confidence, building friendships and creating memories that last a lifetime. Now, that could stop. Rising venue costs and a loss of funding mean the Games are at real risk of ending. Around 10,000 young people each year could lose the chance to take part. A 50-year legacy could disappear. Donations help cover the essentials that make it possible - safe venues, trained volunteers, qualified officials, medical staff, equipment, medals for the winners and t-shirts every competitor takes home with pride. Support from individuals and organisations is what keeps London Youth Games going. Without it, it disappears. Every donation helps keep the Games running and open to all young people across London. If support doesn&rsquo;t come now, there may not be a 50th anniversary to celebrate.
