Every day, people walk through our doors looking for hope. Some are struggling with anxiety or depression. Others are feeling isolated, overwhelmed, grieving, or simply need someone to listen. At LilyAnne’s Wellbeing, we believe nobody should have to face those challenges alone. That’s why we provide free mental health and wellbeing support to our community. The reality The demand for our service has never been higher. We are now receiving around seven new counselling referrals every week, with every counselling appointment lasting one hour. Every referral represents a real person who has reached out for help.As demand continues to grow, so does the cost of making sure support is available when people need it most. Before we can provide support… We have to keep our doors open. The cost of simply operating LilyAnne’s Wellbeing—keeping the lights on, the heating running and providing a safe, welcoming space for our community—is £30,000 every year. That’s just: £2,500 per month before we deliver a single counselling session. Every donation helps us provide a warm, safe environment where people feel comfortable asking for help. Every week we meet people like… A young adult overwhelmed by anxiety, who hasn’t left home in weeks, but finds the confidence to attend their first counselling appointment. Someone experiencing loneliness, who walks into one of our wellbeing groups for the first time and leaves knowing they are no longer alone. A parent carrying the weight of caring for everyone else, who finally has a safe space to talk without judgement. An autistic adult, struggling to navigate everyday life, who discovers understanding, acceptance and practical support through our community. These aren’t just appointments. They’re lives beginning to change. Your support makes this possible Your donation doesn’t just pay a bill.It helps:

Keep our doors open.

Keep our counselling rooms warm and welcoming.

Provide a safe space for people to talk.

Support volunteers and counsellors helping local people every day.

Ensure LilyAnne’s can continue responding to the growing need across Hartlepool.

When someone reaches out for help, we want to be able to say: “Yes, we’re here for you.” Not, “I’m sorry, you’ll have to wait.” Together, we can continue making a difference Mental health support shouldn’t depend on whether a charity can afford to switch the lights on. Every donation—large or small—helps ensure LilyAnne’s Wellbeing remains here for the people who need us today, tomorrow and for years to come. Together, we can keep hope alive in Hartlepool.
