A white silhouette of a bird in flight is centered within a black circle, surrounded by white text that reads "THE GLENN TIPTON PARKINSON'S FOUNDATION."

The heavy metal legend, Glenn Tipton best known as lead guitarist for the multi-platinum selling, metal icons, Judas Priest was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2015 and has since set up the charity, The Glenn Tipton Parkinson's Foundation. The funds to the charity come from a number of avenues including one-off donations such as these, with a big contributor being fans buying special merchandise during the Judas Priest tours.  The Glenn Tipton Parkinson's Foundation has so far donated £480,000 to Imperial College London, where Glenn is being treated for Parkinson's disease under the care of the consultant and professor in clinical neurology, Peter Bain, including towards a pioneering treatment called MR-guided Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS), which aims to help relieve the physical symptoms of Parkinson's, particularly tremor.  Your donations, as fans or simply supporters of the cause are greatly appreciated, by Glenn and all those who suffer as a result of the disease.  "We will beat this awful disease. United we stand." - Glenn Tipton
