🌟 Improving mental health, one connection at a time🌟 Somewhere to go on a TuesdayFor a long time, Sam went days without a conversation. Then someone suggested Ashford & Tenterden Umbrella. A hot drink, a seat and a friendly chat later, Sam was coming back every week. Since 1991, Ashford & Tenterden Umbrella has given adults facing poor mental health and loneliness a place to belong. Around 150 people attend our sessions every year and our weekly attendance averages 60 people. Our weekly sessions include the Chatty Café, Art Wellbeing class and our supported Out & About trips. Please give today and keep the door open for the next person. Sam's story is based on the experiences of people we support.
