Aim - To create a sustainable, comfortable living space where our special needs dogs and others like them can live their best lives ♥️ We desperately needed to upgrade and relocate the dogs' old and run down living accommodation to be able to better meet their varied and complex needs in the way they deserve. We currently provide a safe haven to 21 dogs, 14 of which are blind. 🐶  Thanks to the incredible support we received with our original fundraiser, the basic structure of Barkers Barn has finally been purchased, and constructed!!  (If you'd like the full story of the project, please see - https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/build-barkers-barn ) Just LOOK!! Isn't it fantastic! 😱🙌😍<img src="https://res.cloudinary.com/hxn9dbuhd/image/upload/v1792430680/wysiwyg/ztnolcdasewvzpxkdbxz.jpg" style="width:600px;display:block;vertical-align:top;margin:5px auto;text-align:center;padding:0px 1px;max-width:100%" />🎉🎉🎉 YOU DID THIS!!! Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts 💕  By helping us to raise 60% of our original target, you made it possible for us to purchase the Barn, PLUS prepare some of the base, and we are so very grateful to every single one of you!  And then yet another miracle! Thanks to a wonderful local construction company stepping up to support us, we have finally been able to finish the base, construct the Barn and complete this first stage of the project!  There's still a way to go before the dogs can actually make the massive move to their new purpose built accommodation ...we still need to build a large secure covered deck around the Barn with accessible ramps from the yard and down to the NEW Play Paddock, as well as fit out the interior to accommodate them all, but thanks to your generosity we are well on the way and hopefully it won't be too much longer!  If anyone was able to contribute anything at all to help with this last push and get The Barn finished and ready for the Pack to move in, we'd be so grateful 🙏  Sending love and best wishes to you all from every single soul at The Roost, we couldn't have done any of this without you, and with your support we'll be able to finally get them in and show you them enjoying their beautiful new digs! Xx
