Debris and charred remains litter the foreground in front of a damaged, light-colored building with a green lower section.

We now have a quotation for the rebuilding Thank you so much to everyone who has helped us since the fire at Bishop Willigers Secondary School on 17 September. Thanks to your generosity, we have already raised enough to cover the original £8,000 appeal target. We have now received the builder’s quotation for the first phase of rebuilding the boys’ dormitory, which comes to £11,500. We had hoped that we would not have to replaster - sadly following the engineer's inspection the plaster is blown and needs to be removed and the walls replastered. We are therefore increasing our target to £11,500 so that we can work towards the rebuilding. The boys are safe and are currently sleeping in temporary accommodation at the school. We have already sent funds to Uganda for essential items, including mattresses and other immediate needs. Thank you for standing alongside the boys and the Bishop Willigers community at such a difficult time. Your prayers, messages and generous gifts have meant a great deal to us.
