Based on the Historic Towns Trust&#39;s upcoming Atlas of London on the Eve of the Great Fire, Samuel Pepys&#39; London&nbsp;will be a beautifully illustrated and accessible historical map, allowing everyone to explore the city in 1666 through the eyes of the notorious diarist. Adventurers will be able to follow his journeys, discover the locations he wrote about and gain a unique insight into a city on the verge of seismic change.&nbsp; Pepys witnessed some of the defining events of England&#39;s past, including the coronation of Charles II, the Great Plague and of course, the Great Fire. His diary paints an extraordinary picture of everyday life in Restoration London, from the Royal Exchange and St Paul&#39;s Cathedral to theatres, taverns, coffee houses and the bustling River Thames. Every donation, whatever its size, will help fund the cartography, design and production needed to bring this project to life.
