Fourteen years later, KDC has become so much more than a dance school.It has been a second home, a safe space and a community for hundreds of children, young people, adults and families. Yes, our dancers have performed on ITV, at Wembley Arena, in campaigns with brands including JD Sports and Nike, and at events across London such Barking Carnival, Dancers Delight U18, A night with Monique, A night with Boy Blue Foyer show. We&rsquo;ve won competitions, awards and created incredible memories. Our founder, Elvire, has been recognised with the LBBD Young Woman of the Year Award 2020, the National Lottery Special Game Changer Award 2024, and has been nominated for the Power of Women Awards 2026. But our biggest achievements aren&#39;t the trophies or the big stages. They&#39;re the lives we&#39;ve changed. The child who was once too nervous to walk into class but now performs confidently on stage. The young person who found purpose, confidence and lifelong friendships. The adults who found joy and a community where they felt they belonged.
