Winter can be a hard time for many of us. Costs go up, the days get shorter, and it’s easy to feel disconnected from the people around us. This November, The Hearth Network is hosting our Big Winter Lunch: a warm, free community meal open to everyone in Southport. Whatever your age, background or circumstances, there’s a seat for you.The lunch is built on a bring-a-dish tradition, and that’s a big part of its charm. But not everyone can bring something. Some people are on a tight budget, some are juggling work and caring, and some are new to the area and don’t yet know anyone. We never want anyone to feel they have to arrive with something in their hands to earn a seat at the table. That’s where you come in. Every contribution, big or small, helps put food on the table for guests who can’t bring a dish. Your donation goes towards a shared meal that including inclusive options for those with dietary requirements so everyone can eat well and feel looked after.Every contribution makes a difference:

Every pound goes towards food for our guests

Every donation, whatever the size, helps fill a plate

Every share helps us reach more people who want to help

The Hearth Network is a community interest company based in Southport. We believe the best projects are shaped by the people they serve. Our lunches are run by local volunteers, and many of our paid facilitators began as attendees. Every pound raised goes straight into making this lunch feel generous, inclusive and joyful. Please give what you can, and share this page with friends, family and colleagues. Together we can make sure every seat at the table is filled and every plate is full.Thank you for helping us bring Southport together this winter.
