🌟 Help Overstrand Get Moving with a Community Gym! 🌟 The Overstrand Mermates sea swimming group (in collaboration with Overstrand Sports Club) are fundraising to create a fantastic outdoor community gym where everyone can get active, whatever their age* or ability.   From fitness equipment to table tennis and basketball, we are creating a free, inclusive space sited on the Sports Club field, where villagers can improve their health, boost their mental wellbeing, make friends and have fun. More than just a gym, it’s a place to bring generations together, tackle loneliness and build a stronger, happier community. Thanks to a generous donation of £6,400 from Overstrand Together village group, we only need to raise an additional £2000 to get the Gym up and running.  Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to making it happen. Help us make Overstrand stronger, healthier and more connected — together, we can make a real difference!  🏋️‍♀️ *Table Tennis table and basketball hoop for use by all ages.  Outdoor gym stations for 16+ years.
