Give monthly to strengthen teams of teachers in rural Uganda. We intend to work with groups of teachers at each participating school in our developing programme, rather than supporting one teacher in isolation. Regular donations will help provide practical in-school coaching, peer learning, formal teacher-college training where appropriate, classroom resources and continuing support for teachers and school leaders. Teacher development is part of our wider whole-school and community approach. Over time, we also intend to help participating communities develop locally appropriate income-generating activities. The longer-term aim is for schools and communities to become more resilient and increasingly able to sustain improvements themselves. Monthly gifts give African Revival the reliable income needed to plan this multi-year support. Donations are pooled across the teacher-development programme and may also contribute to school and community support, safeguarding, programme delivery, monitoring and African Revival’s wider charitable costs. If circumstances or programme needs change, we may use donations for similar rural-education work or our wider charitable purposes. African Revival is a UK registered charity (No. 1108718) working with rural schools and communities in Uganda.
