SummitCraft CIC exists to serve underserved communities, particularly young people and individuals who face financial, cultural, and social barriers that have historically restricted their access to the outdoors and to leadership development opportunities. The cost of outdoor pursuits, the lack of cultural representation within outdoor and leadership spaces, and the geographic distance between deprived urban and rural communities and accessible outdoor countryside and mountain terrain all combine to make these experiences the preserve of those with existing advantage.
