Scotland has a rich and distinctive jazz history that spans generations, crosses communities, and reaches well beyond the central belt. The Scottish Jazz Archive exists to preserve that history, make it accessible, and ensure it is never lost. We are a volunteer-led organisation with no paid staff and no core funding. Everything we have built over the past seven years, our collections, our partnerships, our community, has been sustained by goodwill alone. Your support would help us go further. How you can help:

Donate: Every contribution, however small, helps us digitise and preserve the archive's collections, develop our online platform, and work towards a permanent home for Scotland's jazz heritage.

Share: If you are unable to support us financially, sharing our work with your own networks is genuinely valuable. The more people who know the archive exists, the stronger it becomes.

Volunteer: We welcome volunteers with a wide range of skills, from digital and technical expertise to research, events, fundraising, and communications. If you would like to get involved, please get in touch at info@scottishjazzarchive.org.

Thank you for supporting the SJA. Your support is invaluable.
