Team Dougie is raising funds for the Special Care Baby Unit at Conquest Hospital, in thanks for the care given to Dougie and so many local families. Your gift through this page goes straight to The Friends of Conquest Hospital charity. Little Dougie made an early arrival at just 32 weeks, weighing only 4 lb. During those precious first weeks, Dougie and his mum and dad received incredible care and support from the Special Baby Care Unit (SBCU) at The Conquest Hospital. Now three months old, Dougie is home, happy and thriving! He and his family are enjoying getting out and about, going for walks and spending precious time together. To show their enormous gratitude, Nanny Fay, Grandad Paul and Uncle Oli are taking on a fantastic series of triathlons - including a&nbsp;70.3 Half Ironman&nbsp;- over the weekend of Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026. They are raising money for specialist care equipment, including baby cots, and a resuscitaire so that the SBCU can continue giving premature and vulnerable babies the very best start in life while supporting their families. Every donation, no matter the size, will help this wonderful team care for more little fighters like Dougie.
