A light blue megaphone projects the words "POWER OF INTEREST" against a solid dark blue background.

At Power of Interest UK (POI), we believe debate is about more than winning arguments. It is about learning to express your ideas, listen to others, challenge assumptions, and think critically about the world around you. Debate has had a meaningful impact on our own lives, and we want more young people to have the opportunity to experience its benefits. Every week, we hold sessions accessible to students across the UK, where we teach them how to debate and what makes a strong speaker. In the future, we would like to host accessible competitions and conferenes to further our mission. How you can support our mission:

Donate: Your contribution helps us deliver free debate workshops and sessions, cover essential running costs, and create more opportunities for young people to develop their skills.

Share: Help more students discover POI by sharing our campaign with friends, family, and your community.

Get involved: Support our work in helping young people develop their confidence, communication, and critical thinking skills through debate.

Every young person should have the opportunity to express their ideas, question the world around them, and find their voice. With your support, we can help make that possible. Thank you for supporting Power of Interest UK and helping us change lives through debate. Learn more at poi.org.uk Your words. Your way.
