In&nbsp;God, the Bible and Everything,&nbsp;BBC comedy writer and &lsquo;stand-up theologian&rsquo; James Cary explains the whole Bible, in one hour, with jokes and a big screen. And a song that you probably already know. In this fast-moving, hilarious show, written and developed for audiences of all ages, all faiths and none, James Cary shows how familiar Bible stories still in our culture like Adam and Eve, Noah&rsquo;s Ark, the Tower of Babel, David and Goliath and Jesus all fit together. Can he really get through all that in 60 minutes? It will be fun finding out! James Cary is an extremely experienced comedy writer, with a track record of making audiences laugh out loud. That&rsquo;s been his job for 20 years, writing episodes of&nbsp;Miranda, My Family, My Hero&nbsp;and&nbsp;Citizen Khan&nbsp;for BBC TV and&nbsp;Hut 33, Think the Unthinkable&nbsp;and&nbsp;Another Case of Milton Jones&nbsp;for BBC Radio 4 &ndash; all filmed in front of studio audiences. James has combined his expertise in comedy and love of scripture in two books, The Gospel According to a Sitcom Writer and The Sacred Art of Joking (SPCK). He has also written stage shows that have delighted churches in the UK including A Monk&rsquo;s Tale and The God Particle, as well as writing and performing his one-man show Water into Wine.
