Overview&nbsp;First Aid course that covers the syllabus requirements for the Girlguiding 1st Response qualificationWhat will I learn?&nbsp;Gain simple life-saving first aid skills that are relevant to your role.Build the confidence and skills needed to cope with emergencies and first aid situations.Understand how to manage these emergencies.See the full 1st response syllabus for details of everything the course covers.&nbsp;What you need to do&nbsp;To fully complete the first aid training, you need to:&nbsp;Attend a local training session.Complete the <a fr-original-style="" href="https://learning.girlguiding.org.uk/course/view.php?id=419" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">e-learning</a> BEFORE you attend the in-person part.You must complete both parts of the training to be considered a Girlguiding first aider.&nbsp;The 1st response course fee is&nbsp;&pound;15.00,&nbsp;paid by credit/debit card when you book.&nbsp; Bookings from outside of Cheshire Forest will be available if spaces remain before booking closes. If you are not from Cheshire Forest county, the cost will be &pound;30.00.&nbsp;Please note that you can claim the cost for unit funds.&nbsp;What happens if I need to cancel?Unfortunately, if you are unable to attend, we cannot refund the cost. You can find a replacement &ndash; please email eventbookings@cheshireforest.org.uk with the name &amp; GO number of the new person so the records can be updated.&nbsp;Anything else I need to know?Please wear your uniform, and bring a packed lunch &amp; refreshments.Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.&nbsp;If you have any questions, please contact eventbookings@cheshireforest.org.uk.
