Corbridge First School PTFA raises funds to enhance educational resources and playground facilities for children at Corbridge First School, fostering a supportive community through engaging events like the Colour Run.

☀️ The sunshine continues! ☀️ The PTFA will be selling ice lollies after school today from 3pm under the canopy outside Year 1. 🍦 &pound;1 per lolly For those who finding loose change is a pain and to help keep things moving quickly, ice lollies can be &nbsp;purchased in advance via Zeffy.&nbsp; When checking out, don&#39;t forget to select 0% contribution if you do not wish to add an optional donation to the platform. We look forward to seeing you there and helping everyone cool down after another warm school day!

Ice Lolly Sale - Thursday 16th July

We are so excited for the Summer Fair starting at 11am on Sunday! The Summer Fair will be running on a&nbsp;token system&nbsp;to avoid the need for exact cash at every game. Tokens can be purchased on the day from the&nbsp;Token Collection Point, located under the&nbsp;Bike Shed. We will be accepting both&nbsp;cash and card&nbsp;payments. To help keep queues moving, tokens can also be&nbsp;pre-purchased via Zeffy&nbsp;and simply collected on arrival. Token prices &bull; 2 tokens &ndash;&nbsp;&pound;1 &bull; 10 tokens &ndash;&nbsp;&pound;5 &bull; 20 tokens &ndash;&nbsp;&pound;10 Tokens are required for: &bull; Games &amp; activities (excluding the Colour Run, which requires a separate pre-booked ticket) &bull; Mega inflatable slide and obstacle course &bull; BBQ &amp; drinks &bull; Sweet stall

Summer Fair Tokens

We are excited to be running Corbridge First School&rsquo;s first ever colour run, and are very grateful to Sporting Journeys, whose sponsorship has helped keep the event affordable for families. The event will start with a warmup, then participants will run around the course in year groups. Participants will tackle obstacles, be showered with colourful powder and may get wet along the way, helping the colours to create a lasting keepsake on their t-shirts. The paint powders thrown are 100% safe, non-toxic and biodegradable. However, any clothes worn may become stained even after washing, so please do not wear your best clothing or shoes. We cannot take any responsibility for stained clothing or personal belongings. All participants MUST WEAR GOGGLES during the race to protect eyes from the paint powder. If it does get into your eyes, wash it out immediately with water at the first aid station. The paint powder should not cause harm to participants, however we recommend that you do not take part if you have respiratory, skin or medical conditions that could be affected. If in any doubt, please consult your GP prior to the event. &nbsp;If you would like more information on the paint powder we will be using, please visit www.ministryofcolours.co.uk&nbsp; If you will be driving home after the event, we recommend that you bring towels or bin liners to cover car seats, and any wipes you may need. Important Information What to Wear<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">All participants must wear goggles for eye protection in order to participate.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Suitable footwear for running and climbing over obstacles.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Comfortable clothing that they do not mind getting dirty.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">A white T-shirt is recommended for the best colour effect.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Children with long hair should ensure it is tied back</li></ul>Please note: The coloured powder used is designed to wash out of clothing; however, Corbridge First School PTFA cannot accept responsibility for any staining or damage to clothing, footwear, accessories, vehicles or other personal belongings. Participants take part at their own risk and are advised to wear old clothing. To ensure that Corbridge First School families have the first opportunity to take part, places will initially be reserved for pupils and their siblings until Monday 15th June. If spaces remain available after this date, we will be delighted to open entries to parents and the wider community on a first-come, first-served basis. Every penny raised by the Corbridge First School PTFA is invested directly back into projects and resources that benefit the children at our school. We are absolutely delighted with the new playground markings recently installed, which have already transformed playtimes and provided exciting new opportunities for active play. Thanks to the incredible support of our school community, we are already looking ahead to our next project and can&rsquo;t wait to share what we will be fundraising for next. By taking part in events like the Colour Run, you are helping us continue to make a real difference for all the children at Corbridge First School.
