ESEA Creatives CIC fosters community through cultural exchange, celebrating East and Southeast Asian heritage via food, storytelling, and shared experiences. They create inclusive spaces for connection and understanding through culinary traditions.

🍜 Make noodles from scratch with us! Join us at Threads Around the Table&nbsp;for a hands-on evening of making, sharing and eating noodles together as part of&nbsp;ESEA Heritage Month 2026. Across many East and Southeast Asian cultures, noodles are something we share, even though they can look, taste and mean very different things from place to place. Our Co-Director Lok Pui Lo, from Hong Kong, alongside community members&nbsp;Xuan Li, from China, and Emily Ya Hsuan Fu, from Taiwan, will share the noodle traditions they grew up with, the differences between them, and the memories, stories and cultural heritage connected to these dishes. Together, we will:👐 Make noodles from scratch Learn and try different noodle-making techniques together.💬 Talk about noodles, food and identity Explore how food carries memories of family, home, migration, heritage and belonging.🍜 Share a noodle meal Spend some time sharing food with other ESEA community members! 🎟️ Pay What You Can, minimum &pound;5We want this event to be accessible. If you are experiencing financial difficulty and the ticket price is a barrier, please DM us to discuss a free or reduced-cost place. ⚠️ Please note: The noodles made during this workshop contain wheat and gluten. This event is therefore not suitable for people with coeliac disease or a wheat/gluten allergy.
