Flowers Band

Flowers Band promotes brass band music and community engagement by representing England at prestigious competitions. They aim to inspire and connect with audiences through performances, fostering a love for music in Gloucestershire and beyond.

The Flowers Band will represent England at the 2026 European Brass Band Championships in Linz, Austria. This is the first time that the band have qualified for this honour. This Open Rehearsal is an opportunity to watch the band rehearse the two pieces which they will play at the competition, as well as hear the works run in full. Come and support Gloucestershire&rsquo;s premier brass band as we prepare to perform at the 2026 European Brass Band Championships. &nbsp;&nbsp; This event is free to attend, but is ticketed due to venue capacity.

Join Flowers Band for an open rehearsal as we prepare for the National Finals.&nbsp; This is an opportunity to hear the band work on the set test piece - &quot;A Road Less Travelled&quot; by Philip Sparke. You&rsquo;ll sit close to the action and see behind the scenes of our preparations for the contest, including a full fun through of the piece. The event is free to attend and informal, with no obligation to stay for the entire rehearsal. We hope to see you there.

Hear us prepare our especially composed programme ahead of our return to the biggest entertainment programme in the brass band world.
