Lewisham Donation Hub

The Lewisham Donation Hub supports vulnerable individuals by collecting and distributing essential items, fostering community resilience, and addressing urgent needs for those fleeing violence, experiencing homelessness, or facing financial hardship.

Since June, 2020, we have fought tirelessly to be there in the broadest of ways, for all who may turn to us at their lowest ebb. Along the way, we have faced down the COVID pandemic, the Ukraine Crisis, the Afghan Crisis and so much more besides. Yet the challenges and pressurse we face continue to increase. Made worse still by the cost of living and ongoing crises around the world. Ours is a service that has no right to exist at the level it does. And yet it drives forwards, week after week, across 15,600 individual instances of critical support each year. Despite the sometimes overwhelming task in front of us, we remain as passionate today as we have ever been. Reassured to keep on pushing by the beauty and power within this community that remains fiercely at our side. With our future at Place Ladywell uncertain beyond March, 2027, we are turning to you again in the hope you may help build our financial resilience. So that we may focus on the critical support we give, and the search we must undertake for a new home. We know from within our own team that life is increasingly hard, regardless of circumstance.
