LXCL:We stand with children from Nakuru, Kenya, to help them build their own dreams. &nbsp;Our kids are idealists, jokers, dancers, and optimists —&nbsp;and we are determined to help them escape poverty and get the top quality education they deserve.&nbsp;

Over the past six years, we&#39;ve been working hard towards a big new dream: building a community kitchen so we can reach hundreds more children with free school meals in Nakuru, Kenya.&nbsp; Last week, we hit an amazing milestone: our community kitchen launched, and is now providing nutritious meals to 70 children every school day! The children have been identified by their teachers as those most in need &mdash; kids who often otherwise come to school empty-handed, sitting in class feeling faint, hungry, or worrying about a lunchtime with no food.&nbsp; Now, our team of cooks is preparing a delicious hot lunch made from local ingredients, and delivering it to Muringa Comprehensive School. But we urgently need new supporters so we can keep providing meals to 70 kids for as long as possible.&nbsp; We&#39;re entirely led by volunteers, so 100% of your donation will go our essential running costs: locally sourced food, wages for our cooks, and the costs of delivering meals to local children.
