Save Sandrock Bends
A proposal for 65+ new homes threatens to destroy this vital habitat. We can stop this, but we can’t do it alone. The developers have submitted slick, expensive reports to the Council claiming their plans are safe. To overturn them, we need independent, scientific proof. The Save Sandrock Bends campaign is fundraising to continue to commission:Independent Hydrologists: To prove the severe flood risk this development poses to Hastings.Ecological Surveyors: To document the rare species that will be lost forever.Planning Consultants: To fight the application on legal and technical grounds. These experts are not cheap, but they are our best chance of winning. This is a fight for our green spaces, our infrastructure, and our future. Please help us level the playing field. These experts are being funded by St Helens Park Preservation Society, which is working in partnership with the Save Sandrock Bends Campaign. All these donations are given to St Helens Park Preservation Society, Registered Charity# 251341 and can be gift-aided.
