The Beautiful Births Foundation offers training to Traditional Birth Attendants (TBAs) in remote communities with lifesaving skills, resources, and support — helping them provide safer care for mothers and babies who cannot reach hospitals. Or to those who choose TBAs for cultural reasons. As a midwife of 25 years I have seen life saving techniques which cost no money. If the traditional birth attendants have these skills many women could be saved. No woman or baby should die unnecessarily.
