THE SILK ROUTE

The Silk Route fosters community development and cultural exchange through educational programs, social initiatives, and support services, aiming to empower individuals and promote understanding among diverse cultures.

Sports Day Picnic &ndash; Hosted by The Silk Route CharityJoin us for an afternoon of fun sports and getting together with family and friends! 📅 Saturday 8th August 2026 🕑 2:00 PM &ndash; 6:00 PM 📍 Hiltingbury Scouts Hut, SO53 5NP All families welcome, come along for friendly games, activities, and a chance to catch up with the community. Pizza and refreshments will be provided, and we&#39;d love for you to bring along some picnic bits to share too! Ticket Information There is one ticket type available:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Sports Day Ticket &ndash; &pound;3.50 per person</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Every attendee requires a ticket, regardless of age (except as noted below).</li><li fr-original-style="font-weight: bold;" style="font-weight: bold; box-sizing: inherit;">Children under 1 year old attend free of charge and do not require a ticket.</li></ul>Any proceeds beyond covering event costs will go towards supporting The Silk Route Charity&#39;s future community events and our community centre project. Food &amp; Safety Disclaimer Food at this event is shared picnic-style, including contributions from attendees. Please check ingredients carefully if you have allergies or dietary requirements, attendees consume food at their own discretion and take responsibility for checking suitability. Community Iftar &ndash; Hosted by The Silk Route Charity Iftar is all about coming together, sharing good food, and embracing the spirit of Ramadan. It&rsquo;s a beautiful opportunity to connect as a community, reflect, and appreciate the blessings of the holy month with friends, neighbours, and family.
