Whitby Hidden Impairments Support & Help (WHISH) empowers individuals with hidden disabilities through support, advocacy, and community engagement, fostering understanding and inclusion to enhance their quality of life.

Support Our WHISH Fundraiser 🏃&zwj;♀️🏃&zwj;♂️A group of 10 volunteers are taking on the Yorkshire Coast 5K &amp; 10K on Sunday 11th October, organised by Run For All, to raise vital funds for WHISH. WHISH is a small, parent-led charity that is completely self-funded, supporting over 200 children and young people across the Whitby &amp; Esk Valley rural area who have a disability, Special Educational Need or Hidden Impairment.WHISH activities help improve the health, wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem of young people, giving children with disabilities and impairments the opportunity to take part in activities that many children can take for granted &mdash; making friends, learning new skills and, most importantly, having fun together. We&rsquo;re looking for local businesses and individuals to sponsor our team and help us raise as much as possible. Every donation, big or small, will directly help WHISH continue its amazing work.Please support our 5K &amp; 10K challenge and help us make a difference to local children and families.&nbsp;

Yorkshire Coast 5k & 10K in aid of WHISH

Join us for a fun-filled evening at the Whitby Hot Chocolate Festival Quiz on Tuesday 10th November at 7 pm! Gather your friends, test your knowledge and sample some delightful refreshments and cake. We will also have gluten free options available!&nbsp; Whether you&#39;re a quiz enthusiast or simply love a warming chocolatey treat, it&#39;s the perfect way to enjoy the festival atmosphere. 📍 VENUE: WHISH, St Hilda&#39;s Hub Waterstead Lane, Whitby, YO21 1PF &pound;2 per person - please note these tickets are non-refundable Free car park on site. We are based on the first floor, but we have lift access, 2 wheelchair accessible toilets, including 1 changing bed!&nbsp;Assistance dogs are welcome at our venue! Every ticket purchased helps us continue providing vital support, creating opportunities, and building a more inclusive community where every child and family feels valued, understood and supported. Your support really does make a difference! 💙 The raffle will be drawn at our Celebration Ball on Friday 13th November.&nbsp;
