LXCL:We have a limited number of seats on a pre-booked coach to bring people back from Hengistbury Head to Poole. The coach will depart at 08:30 and drop off at Poole coach park before heading to Hamworthy Park

Our annual Dusk Till Dawn event returns on 26th September 2026 with the&nbsp;The Seaside Switchback, an unforgettable overnight endurance challenge that bringstogether adventure, community and purpose. In true Nimsdai Foundation style, we&#39;re bringing the mountaineering spirit to the Dorset coastline. As part of the Seaside Switchback, participants will take on a 22-mile challenge from Poole Quay to Hengistbury Head, tackling all 21 beach access paths by climbing to the clifftop before descending back to the beach. Along the way, you will earn your 14 Peaks and 7 Summits. Setting off after sunset, you will experience Dorset&#39;s spectacular coastline in a way few ever do. Guided by the glow of headtorches beneath a star-filled sky, you will climb, descend and push forward alongside fellow adventurers, accompanied by the peaceful sounds of the coast as you journey through the night, watching the sunrisefrom Hengistbury Head. Starting Point:Purchase a warm drink or cake at The Cafe in the Park, Hamworthy &nbsp;- <a fr-original-style="" href="https://what3words.com/ears.extend.live" id="isPasted" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">https://what3words.com/ears.extend.live</a> before we set off! The hike will start at around 10:30/11:00 after a short safety brief and remembrance video of Nims.&nbsp; The Route:Starting at dusk, you&#39;ll journey 22 miles along Dorset&#39;s spectacular coastline, tackling all the beach access paths by climbing to the clifftop beforedescending back to the beach.
