The popular Her Biz start-up programme returns via Zoom in October 2026! Are you thinking about setting up a new business? Her Biz, the &#39;virtual&#39; Women&#39;s Start-Up programme supports aspiring female entrepreneurs and is designed specifically to encourage more women to start a business. Why not turn your idea/hobby into a reality? Workshop dates/times:The programme consists of&nbsp;3 x 3-hour&nbsp;sessions, each from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Friday 9th October -&nbsp;Exploring your idea and shaping your business plan</li><li fr-original-style="" id="isPasted" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Friday 16th October &nbsp;-&nbsp;Understanding financials and funding options</li><li fr-original-style="" id="isPasted" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Friday 23rd October -&nbsp;Marketing, social media &amp; online presence and Practicalities of getting started After each session, you will receive a copy of the presentation slides, useful templates to use and a list of resources to aid your research. </li></ul>This is a pay-what-you-can workshop, with a suggested donation of &pound;50 to help cover delivery costs and support future start-up programmes. We want the workshop to remain accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. This inspiring programme has been specifically created to help encourage women to set up a new business. So far, we have held over 30 successful rounds of the Her Biz programme across East Sussex and Kent over the past 5 years, each one over-subscribed, so we urge you to apply now to avoid disappointment! You can access Zoom easily from your desktop computer, laptop, tablet or mobile phone. Join our experienced Start-Up Coaches for a series of 3 x 3-hour sessions starting Friday 9th October 2026. Please note that previous participants have done so whilst caring for children and juggling other distractions.
