Join our &ldquo;Neurodiversity in the workplace&rdquo; workshop 🧠 to explore practical ways to build fair, inclusive teams. We&rsquo;ll look at real examples from our social enterprise and share tools you can use in everyday workplace situations. This session is for employers, managers, HR and colleagues or anyone who goes to work, who want to support neurodivergent staff with confidence and respect. By taking part, you&rsquo;re helping us create more accessible employment opportunities and a kinder working world 🤝. In the session we will cover<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;" value="1">What is neurodiversity?</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;" value="2">Why is neurodiversity in the workplace important?</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;" value="3">An overview of the recent Buckland Review on Employment and Autism</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;" value="4">What easy adjustments can be made to ensure a working environment is neurodiverse friendly?</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;" value="5">An overview of Access to Work.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;" value="6">An overview of simple ways in which recruitment processes can be neuro divergent friendly.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;" value="7">Effective ways to be more neuro-inclusive for your whole team.</li></ul>We wish participants to share their experiences and hope that this will help facilitate discussions and ideas. The sessions will be presented by our CEO Zoe Rodda and one of our team who identify as being neurodivergent. Venue informationThe event is being held in the function room of our Canterbury restaurant. This is in the city centre and so parking will either need to be in local car parks or using the Park and Ride. The nearest car parks are St Radiguns or Pound Lane.
