Highly respected artist, teacher, and Royal Scottish Academician, Sam Ainsley has kindly donated several original artworks as prizes for a fundraiser raffle for Renfrewshire Disability Arts Forum&nbsp;(RDAF). RDAF is a local charity&nbsp;SC031090 established in 2000 with the aim of widening participation in the arts for those living with mental, physical and learning disabilities in Renfrewshire. The Big Art Show has great pleasure in hosting the raffle on behalf of RDAF with the prizes of Sam Ainsley&rsquo;s artworks on display for the duration of the exhibition. There are three prizes as follows:<ol fr-original-style="" style="width: 100%; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; box-sizing: inherit;">&middot; A framed limited edition print called: &ldquo;Self Portrait With Red Cape&rdquo;</li><li fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; box-sizing: inherit;">&middot; An acrylic painting on a circular canvas called: &ldquo;We Are All Cells&rdquo;</li><li fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; box-sizing: inherit;">&middot; Three &ldquo;bed&rdquo; drawings created by Sam during her period of recovery following her traffic accident called: &ldquo;Old &amp; New Cities&rdquo;; &ldquo;Two Cities &ndash; Two Different Ways of Living &ndash; Romanticism V Classicism&rdquo;; &ldquo;Tattooed Goddess&quot;</li></ol>RDAF supports individuals as well as a wide range of collaborative projects covering a range of fields in the creative arts. Throughout Renfrewshire RDAF currently supports: Dirty Feet Dance Company; The Rainbow Musicians; regular drumming workshops; art groups facilitated by local artists; a photography group and a heritage group.
