From the US-backed HTS committing countless atrocities to the Turkish-backed SNA attempting to extinguish the revolution in Rojava. We are collaborating with Scottish Kurdistan Solidarity to bring you an evening of solidarity. We will begin the evening with a presentation running us through the history of Rojava and update on the current situation in the region. Following that will watch a short and a feature film, engaging with historic and contemporary expressions of people&rsquo;s resistance for dignity and freedom. We will end the night with live music and discussion. We hope you join us to raise funds, to celebrate resistance, and to honour life - to show that the people, and the people alone, are the makers of history. 📆 Sunday 24th of May⏰ Doors open 6pm &amp; we start at 6.30📍105 French St, Glasgow G40 4EH🍲 Free gluten free &amp; vegan meal served&nbsp; Content Notes: The programme deals with themes bombardement, genocide, war crimes, sexual assault and displacement.
