ROAD by Jim Cartwright
Presented by Applauz CIC & Sarah Byrne Acting Academy

📍 Chadderton Town Hall
📅 Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 October 2026

Step onto the Road for one unforgettable night. Jim Cartwright's award-winning play takes you on a journey through a single street in 1980s Lancashire, guided by the unforgettable Scullery as he leads us door to door through the lives of the people who live there — their hopes, their heartbreak, their humour, and their fight to hold onto something worth having.

Funny, raw, and deeply human, Road has been captivating audiences since it first hit the stage in the 1980s, and this October our talented local cast brings it to life right here in Oldham.

Come and support homegrown theatre — book your tickets now and be part of the night.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to mature themes within the performance we request a minimum viewing age of 16, or 14 when attending with an adult.

🎟️ All proceeds support Applauz CIC's ongoing community Film & TV Training and youth performing arts programmes in Oldham, Manchester
