That Big Funky Thing play uplifting, happy music that makes you want to dance and leaves you with a smile. It&#39;s a big band, full of characters, who are focused on a great performance. We play a brand best described as funky soul with strong roots and inspiration from the greats of Motown. We play songs in our own way, giving them our own style stamp, so our sound is instantly recognisable. Although we are currently working hard on recording original songs, we are also doing classic cover songs from the great songwriters such as Stevie Wonder, Chic, Earth Wind &amp; Fire, Steely Dan, Aretha Franklin and of course Holland, Dozier and Holland. You can see us play at events and festivals across Scotland and the UK, but be prepared... you will want to come back for more!
